Romina is an interdisciplinary artist and professional cook based in Marfa, Texas. Her work moves between food, art, and ritual—spaces where memory, landscape, and transformation converge. Trained in the kitchens of Cochineal, Tivoli & Lee, and Major Food Group in New York city, she approaches cooking as both craft and ceremony. After leaving MFG she created ARTEMIS-an underground dining project that produced highly imaginative, conceptual dinner experiences.

Since returning to Marfa, she has designed a series of intimate, site-specific dinners—Casa del Olvido, Casa Alma, Fuego Y Tierra—each conceived as an ephemeral work of art guided by the desert’s rhythms and the act of gathering. Romina continues to live and work in Marfa as an underground chef and visual artist, exploring nourishment as a form of connection between people, place, and spirit.
